LUCLOVER “WASTE OF TIME” SINGLE REVIEW - HIP-HOP FROM HOUSTON!

LUCLOVER

“Waste Of Time”

Single review by Mike O’Cull, independent music journalist. www.mikeocull.com

Houston-based hip-hop artist and musician Luclover is a 14-year-old rap prodigy with the passion, personality, and skills required to become a game-changer. His latest release is the single “Waste Of Time,” a lyrical and atmospheric slow jam about unwanted love that “keeps hitting my line, I don’t know how to get rid of her.” The track is built on a spacey, minimalistic beat that allows Luclover plenty of room to vocally roam all over it but he shows the artistic maturity to keep it all in the pocket and never overflows the moment. It’s an impressive cut from a talent with less than a year in the game.

For most of his young life, Luclover’s game was basketball. He first touched a ball at age four and developed into an elite athlete and competitor with the help of his parents. When he felt the fire to make music, he went at it just as hard. His abilities were quickly recognized and he has been streamed many thousands of times on SoundCloud and Spotify. “Waste Of Time” is a hot track that’s going to open doors for Luclover and could very well make him a worldwide star. He’s got a sound that’s perfect for this place and time that’ll make true hip-hop heads pay close attention. Give him a shot today and get in on the ground floor of something good.
