King Femi is a hip-hop artist and entrepreneur from Bermuda currently making big waves in the Atlanta rap scene. His latest track is the single “Young Queens,” a spacey, slow jam trap cut with a smooth vocal and an after-midnight attitude. Femi glides through the track, shifting gears as needed, dropping his tales of life amongst the young and profitable. He permanently installs the chorus hook into your mind and shows a great deal of creativity in his verse flows.
Production quality is high on “Young Queens,” especially the kick and hi-hat sounds that drive the pocket. The whole track has an enveloping feel to it that seems to come out of your headphones and wrap itself around your consciousness. “Young Queens” was released by King Femi’s own Royal Family Productions, LLC, a bossed-up move that shows his entrepreneurial mindset. He is a man of much influence and it can be seen at all levels of the culture. “Young Queens” is a hot-to-the-touch cut from one of the premier rappers in Atlanta. You’d best get it pumping through your system.
