Speedyville Nardy is a hip hop artist, entrepreneur, and designer from the South Side of Chicago who hits the microphone with everything he’s got on his newest album Sr. Tweak Tweak. A follow-up to his first full-length release BraveHeart Musik, Sr. Tweak Tweak hit the streets on Nardy’s own indie record label Pack Money LLC and showcases his gritty, individual style. He’s still a young artist in his early 20s but displays the vision and wisdom of someone with many more years in the game. The tracks on Sr. Tweak Tweak sit on absolutely slamming kick drums and tight trap hats that ring, resonate, and form a permanent foundation for Nardy’s nail-tough rhymes.

Nardy spits about street life, philosophy, and family on tracks including “F**k Da Industry,” “Bars Non!,” and his opening title track “Sr. Tweak Tweak.” His vocal vibe is chilled-out at times but intense when it needs to be. One of his best cuts is a song about his daughter called “Poetic Shakur.” Older heads will get the movie reference but the song works for all generations of fans. Nardy has clearly embraced the artistry aspect of music-making and shows growth and creative development throughout this fine set. Rap aficionados need to find Speedyville Nardy and get this album to break out of Chicago and go global. Y’all know what to do.
