ItsENJ rocks an upbeat Afropop/Afro-soul vibe that’s about to go viral in its new music video “Moonside.” The track is a pulsating, body-moving banger that puts the skills of ItsENJ members Chimdi and OTITO, who come across like major stars both vocally and rhythmically. Also known as The Dapper Duo, the pair put down strong performances and have an amazing on-camera presence in the music video. The video itself combines vibrant colorful footage of Chimdi and OTITO rocking the house with grittier clips shot on the streets of Nigeria, where the two were stuck for a number of months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In total, ItsENJ stayed in Nigeria for five months, enduring several near-death experiences and having difficulties with the Nigerian police. The group eventually left Nigeria but used the memories of those difficult moments to drive the bravado and kinetic energy on display in the video.
