ONEUP “LET ME COME HOME” SINGLE REVIEW - CHRISTMAS MAGIC!

ONEUP

“Let Me Come Home”

Single review by Mike O’Cull www.mikeocull.com

OneUp is the phenomenally talented vocal duo comprised of married couple Adam and Jerome Bell-Bastien. “Let Me Come Home” is their emotional, melancholy Christmas song about people trying to put the pieces of a relationship back together at what should be the happiest time of year. Writing new holiday-themed songs in any genre and making them stick is a tall order but “Let Me Come Home” succeeds where many others have failed. It’s a heartfelt pop ballad that’s genuine and real and avoids the artificially-sweetened pseudo feelings that often dominate Christmas music. Adam and Jerome are both supremely gifted singers and listening to them work together on a song like this is pure magic.

Sharp-eyed fans may recognize OneUp from Season 15 of The Voice, where the guys earned a spot on Team Kelly as the show’s first ever same-sex duo. The two New Yorkers met on a music video shoot and quickly developed both personal and musical connections. “Let Me Come Home” majestically displays the power the two men create together and is the kind of heartbreakingly beautiful track that becomes a cherished part of the Christmas experience for millions of people. Add OneUp to your holiday playlist and start a brand-new tradition.
