JUBILEE “PEACHES” SINGLE REVIEW - BRAZILIAN POP!

JUBILEE

“Peaches”

Single review by Mike O’Cull www.mikeocull.com

Jubilee, a.k.a. Gia Cezar, is a Brazilian-American artist who has forged a career solely out of artistic vision and personal drive. Her latest single, “Peaches,” is an understated yet palatial slice of bilingual 21st Century pop noir that will ensnare, captivate, and compel deep listeners looking for new music that isn’t a waste of time. Cezar’s vocals are low-key and feel confessional, almost like an intimate after-midnight chat about champagne, desire, and pain. The track is subtle but still grooves. It’s built on rhythms and soul pulled from her multicultural heritage and is exotic but accessible.

In addition to her artistry, Gia is the founder and CEO of Common Luxury LLC, the record label and production company she runs with her brother Jordan Cezar. The company lets the pair produce the music, movies, and artwork they’ve dreamed of since childhood. Jubilee is the firm’s debut release and sets a high and creative bar for future projects. Fans of international pop greatness will be hearing much more from this talented pair.
