Asher Laub is a phenomenally talented electric violinist, producer, and performer from Long Island, New York with a powerful, eclectic style that combines hip hop, pop, rock, and EDM with acrobatic choreography and breakdancing. His new single, “On The Road,” is a driving instrumental track that uses electronic dance beats to support his highly melodic and expressive violin work and puts his playing in a fresh, new context. Virtuoso violinists aren’t typically heard in this type of modern, accessible setting and Laub uses that fact to his advantage, delivering a cut that stands out and grabs attention.
Laub began playing at the tender age of two and was performing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra by 13. Since those early days, he has grown into a compelling artist and creator unafraid to challenge conventional notions about music and live performance. “On The Road” proves Laub is operating on an entirely different level than most classical musicians and possesses an artistic vision that is his alone.
