Mic Strong is a conscious lyrical hip hop artist from Fort Wayne, Indiana with a new single called “Vice City” that will remind you of everything you love about rap music. He’s a man of great faith, growth, and purpose who makes music that demonstrates those qualities while still showing listeners a good time. “Vice City” is all about those good times and spins a story of an ultimate beach vacation and all the fun it contains. Mic Strong is heavily influenced by funk and 90s hip hop and lays down a vibe here that’s upbeat and positive, avoiding the menace and desperation that so many rappers try to project. He is a mature lyricist who has no need to use profanity or shock to get people listening.
“Vice City” builds on a lighthearted funk beat that will instantly win over anyone looking to dance and party. The inspiration from artists including Tupac, Arrested Development, and Will Smith is clear but Mic Strong has his own flow that sets him apart from anyone else. His delivery is relaxed and real, pulling fans deeper into his orbit with every line.
