DONNIE AKI “LIFELINE” SINGLE REVIEW - AMAZING MIAMI HIP HOP!

DONNIE AKI

“Lifeline”

Single review by Mike O’Cull www.mikeocull.com

Miami hip hop artist Donnie Aki is fully in his element on his new single “Lifeline.” The track is a touching love song done in Donnie’s unique style that incorporates both rapped and sung vocals as well as an open display of emotion and vulnerability not often found in urban music. Aki is onto something original here and really comes across as an artist who is fully in control of his identity and vibe. “Lifeline” appears to be well on its way to striking gold and has received over 11,000 streams in its first week on SoundCloud. Aki’s fans are latching onto the song in a major way and it’s a beautiful thing to behold.

Donnie Aki has been creating music since the young age of 15 and has given his whole life to the process. He even walked away from an athletic scholarship at the University of Florida to chase his music career full time. He also puts in work with other artists and producers including Hill Carden and his brother Tony Torquoix. Aki is a skilled and experienced creator who has what it takes to become a star. You won’t hear many tracks as strong as this in 2020 or any other year. Spin it and you’ll know I’m right. Put this one on your “Must Hear” playlist.
